Good game. I wish they'd revive this for the PS3. With a few changes.

It is a fresh new look into racing. Military jets made to race for sport. Unlike Wipeout where you hover over a track, this has full 3D movement. The trainee level is quite easy as soon as you learn all the arcade controls but you need to relearn the controls in professional/realistic settings which allows you to do rolls to be able to win on the next level which is quite difficult given the PS controllers. This would be a good game if fighter sim controllers would be used or even available. Graphics are a tad above average, you really feel the sense of speed. You wouldn't really notice or care about any detail when you are doing low level flights at this speed. There is quite a selection of recognizable jets and there is a little bit of upgrading involved. The developers should make the learning curve easier for the average gamer though. Probably an open terrain for some time trials or slalom for practice. I also don't get the concept that fighters would go faster as they are closer to the ground. The atmosphere is much dense here compared to several thousand feet above sea level which increases the drag even if it provides more air to burn fuel.
