Gameday '98 is just so fun!

User Rating: 9.5 | NFL GameDay 98 PS
This might have been the first football simulation I played for the PlayStation. Either this, or Madden '98. Okay, let's get to the review.
To start off, watch the intro! It is awesome! Too bad many games don't do this anymore! The music is my favorite, along with the hitting!
There are only two modes, Exhibition and Season, but these are the basic. There ae different types of gameplay. There is simulation, arcade, and total control, which would be part of simulation in later Gameday games. With total control, you can jump over the pile, celebrate into the endzone, and a little more.
All the NFL teams are included in the game, as well as All-NFL teams and past Super Bowl teams. The stadiums are also well done, ever since Gameday '97. The cameras are solid.
The gameplay is really fun! Each time anybody scores, there's a touchdown celebration, which is pretty cool. The PA announcer comments on the game and gives special announcements, like who's the teacher of the year? The players are huge, unlike most modern games. The QB cam is the largest! The AI might be tough sometimes, but some Easter Egg cheats could help! You can go check out some above.
In season mode, I like that you can change the year for the schedule to the year 2000. There are some clips to when you go to and win the Super Bowl. After the Pro Bowl, the game goes back to the beginning intro.
Overall, this game is awesome!
