According to a Famitsu article, the PS3 exclusive game will feature concept art by Yoshitaka Amano and music by Nobuo Uematsu and his band, the Earthbound Papas. Both men used to work on the Final Fantasy series of games in their respective roles.

The game is set in an alternate modern timeline on Earth where warriors called Fencers protect the world using weapons called Furies. The story revolves around a boy named Fang who accidentally becomes a Fencer after saving a female Fencer called Tiara. The developer has yet to reveal its combat system, though it said that players can level up their Furies through fights and can use a combination of attack chains and magic.

The RPG is scheduled to be out this year in Japan. There is no word on a North American release at this point in time.
