EA Humble Bundle approaching $10 million in sales
Charity bundle offers major EA game franchises for $1; Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising and Populous added.
With just over two days remaining on EA's Humble Bundle, the charity pack is quickly approaching the $10 million mark, from almost 2 million purchases.
As of press time, the game had sold 1,938,001 bundles, representing $9,506,631.27 in sales with an average purchase price of $4.91.
Gamers are able to pay a minimum of $1 for Dead Space 3, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, Crysis 2: Maximum Edition, Medal of Honor, and Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box. Those who choose to pay more than the average will receive Battlefield 3, The Sims 3: Starter Pack (which includes The Sims 3 and expansions Late Night Expansion Pack and High-End Loft Stuff), as well as the recently added Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising and classic god game Populous.
Charity recipients of the promotion include Human Rights Campaign, Watsi, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, American Cancer Society, and American Red Cross.
The EA Humble Bundle finishes on August 28 and passed 1 million sales less than 36 hours after launching.
