There were flaws I couldn't force myself to get past, but it was not ALL horrid.

This game definitely had potential somewhere down the line. It had "challenges", just the wrong kind of challenges you could say.. I understand this game was designed with a specific age group in mind, but I wish Neopets thought more about the actual content rather than the brand they were selling (that is simply my opinion). The graphics could have been a lot better for when it came out. I really believe that the graphics stunted the experience because some things were blatantly an eyesore. Navigating did not have the natural feel to it and a lot of what made certain parts in this game difficult was getting from place to place which made it frustrating to say the least.

To see the positives I do not have to look at the game through the eyes of my preteen Neopets obsessed self - and that is one of it's best redeeming qualities. I will say that is the reason I initially bought it, but not more than that. It was kind of cool to venture throughout the game and think "oh, I remember that!" though. The story line was far from perfect, but I was generally satisfied with the story as a whole. Really a cute game. I would not recommend it to anybody really, but I honestly would say if you don't mind spending a few bucks it is worth a casual run-through.
