FORTY ???? Me thinks someone got up on the wrong side of the bed. Not only that, but they picked up Pro Street and tried to play it when they weren't really prepared and it KICKED THEIR WITTLE BOTTOM. So Gamespot has employed a game editor for race games who's not very good at race games. Enough of that rant....Pro Street is a simulator and an arcade racer all together. Most everyone agrees that the controls are poorly assigned, the driver assist is so bad that it should never be used and the AI is most often times brutal. BUT....learn the controls.....turn off the driver assist......and get real darn mad at your computer opponent. There will be times when you're ready to bash your PSP to pieces. But the joy you feel from victory is awesome. This game is about racing a car that takes a little skill to master and that isn't glued to the track. Go ahead and hate the muscle cars that drive like granite rocks. Speaking of rocks...the sound track is adrenaline pulsing, heart thumping stuff. Making it to the CHAMPIONSHIP Series of races is rewarding and the cars get very cool, very quickly. My thumbs hurt and my hammer is always close by. I appreciate the challenge and beauty of NFS Pro Street. Experience it.
