This game has brought a new Revolution to the world of racing with it's innovation. One of the best in the NFS series.
After playing this game I was really amazed with the innovation that NFS brought to this game. It's not just about speed & power but also role-playing.
The game includes two categories i.e. Career & Factory Mode.
Career is divided into Era's i.e. Classic, Golden & Modern.
Classic includes old-school type cars as the name suggests, Golden is in between i.e. not too slow & not too fast whereas the Modern Era includes fast cars.
The cars given to drive in this game are exclusive Porsche cars as the name suggest.
In Factory mode you assume the role of a factory driver for Porsche.
You start as a junior driver but gradually progress to seniority after completing the tasks/challenges which I found superb & unique.
Another thing that mesmerized me is the Graphics. For such a old game the graphics are really stunning & it can even give modern racing games a run for their money.
You get to drive on highways, tunnels, alleys, waterfalls beside you & even through snowfall which is simply superb.
So should I go for it?
Absolutely. No need to rethink. It's worth your penny.
The Good : Mesmerizing Graphics. Low system requirements.
Robust gameplay especially factory mode. Exclusive Porsche cars with nice & smooth handling.
The Bad : Damage of cars unlike NFS Most Wanted. So if you drive rashly in a tournament you have to spend a lot after the race to fix your car.
Final Verdict : Hats-Off to NFS for attempting to make such a game & prove that in a racing game it's not everything about speed.
