I was looking forward to the intensity that came with the PS2 Hot Pursuits, but this one is boring.

I was basically hoping for another NFS:Most Wanted, but that wasn't the case. I really liked NFS:Most Wanted's open environment and intense chase scenes.

In NFS:Hot Pursuit, the cars can't be modified at all, and the handling is crappy. Driving these supercars down windy roads, feels more like driving an old truck in the snow.

The game is broken up into a bunch of different time trials so the action is very broken up. As for the pursuits, they are only about 20% of the game (if that) and are still in time trial format.

So far, its been disappointing and I find myself forcing myself to play it just so I don't feel as ripped off for buying it. NFS:Hot Pursuit is very lacking in the fun factor.

Another thing that irritates me is that you can't turn off the "Action" scenes. I enjoy them at the beginning, but they end up interfering with the race.

Would not recommend...
