NBA Street V3 is all about making a team and taking over the streets. You have a certain number of days that include pick-up games, dunk contests, tournaments, and if you get on a NBA team, NBA games. At the start of the story mode you create a character that best repersents your playing style and you also creat what he or she looks like. After that you pick two people to be on your team then the journey begins. After games you can pick people that you want to be on your team. Usually after tournaments there's a guy on a team that you should pick like actual NBA players. There's a variety of games that you can do like 3-Point shoots count only or Dunks only, all of this gives variety to the game but the 3-Point can be long and boring sometimes if you don't have any 3-Point shooters. That's what makes this game so deep. You get players that repersent something that makes a team. You may have someone that's good at 3-Pointer's and you get a person that is good at dunking. It gives your team layers and overall your team will be more dangerous. Well after the story mode there's really nothing to do. Oh yeah I forgot, Online play. Online play is so addicting, you'll be there forever. It's awesome seeing someone down by four do his gamebreaker and get four. It's just awesome and you'll always be coming back for more. The gameplay is pretty simple. You use the right analog stick to pull off insane trick. But you'll press the shoulder buttons to do even more insane moves. If you press all the shoulder buttons you will get more points and they will fill up your gamebreaker meter faster. The gamebreaker works like this. You press L3 to start it up, and you can shoot for 2 points or you can dunk for a maximum of 4 points but it is more risky. If you miss the dunk you'll have to try to fill up your gamebreaker meter all over again. Overall this game is the best in the series and one of the best basketball games in general. With the story mode and online play you will always be playing this but at a point it can cross the line of boring.
