NBA Street Vol.3 offers a lot but if you are expecting huge changes you might be disappointed. Gameplay: The gameplay for Vol.3 pretty much acts as the first to installations to the series did you can use the square button to do trick moves, circle to shoot and triangle to block on D (all in default controller of course). You can use the analog to make trick moves much easier though, a good add on to Vol.3 is using the turbo buttons to do different trick moves as in 1 turbo and a flick of the analog would give you the lowest trick move with a turbo button, 2 turbo buttons will give you a better trick move and so on with 3, and 4 turbo buttons along with that you can flick the analog in the direction of up, down, left, right, and diagonal to do different trick moves. Once you have discovered all the trick moves or get tired of them there are 2 more sets of totally different moves you can set so when you do the combo say up and 2 turbo buttons it will do a different trick move if you set the trick move book for the trick combo on Chapter 2 as to it would if you put it on Chapter 1 trick moves. Everything else is pretty much the same as it was before there are still off the heezy and kick passes. The biggest complaint I can think of though is that steals are way to easy to get even on the hardest mode, you can get use to it after awhile though. The customization in the game is great you can make your character for the main mode Street Challenge virtually the same as you look and you can buy tons of jerseys, shoes, and other things to make your baler look like the real street basketball players. You can also make your own court, which is fun, but the options you have can be somewhat limited. Online: The online mode is slower than the game when you aren’t playing online but it is what you would expect everything else works perfect in it though and fits in. Sound: Sound in Vol.3 is solid the sound effects you hear while you are playing are great but as to in the menus and tracks you hear while playing defiantly get repetitive and annoying after awhile there are only a few good tracks but they even get annoying after you play the game a lot. Graphics: If you are tired of your PS2 being mocked for its old graphics this game defiantly pushes the PS2 to its limits. The graphics in the game look fantastic thought they may sometimes get slow but you don’t really ever get frustrated with it. Overall: If you liked the Street series you should defiantly get this game or if you like basketball at all you will certainly enjoy this game. It is a great game to play with your friends and have tournaments with. I give it an 8.7
