After a string of great games in this series, this really feels like a step back. The story is just ok, and the game play hasn't improved much. Feel of the game feel a bit more disjointed, and hasn't enjoyed the game as much. Still a series, but this just didn't feel as much fun. Some how it feels like 2KSports did everything possible to make the less fun for the human player. In MyPlayer mode, you're pretty much a 50 rated player, trying to play against players that's a 70+ player. That makes no sense at all. Until you get into the 70's you're pretty much a liability to your team.
Some things I did love; the game looks amazing, the graphics, and the sounds, feel just like being on the court. 2KSports also appear to have added every option possible,......if you can find the options.
I hope when I get into "Season play" this game improves, right now, I'm not enjoying it as much as I feel I should. 2K should spend more time on the game and less time on the story telling. It's hurting the game. Still the best sport series out there, and miles better than the Madden series. I'm still going to give it a 8, but just barely. I wanted to give it a 7, but I still have a ton of game play, and love this series.
