I've read all the "LAG" issues and reviews that say this game isn't great...READ THIS..this game RULES!!!!!!!!
With that being said I will start by saying I have purchased 2K NBA games for the last 4 years (since the 360 supported the games) (as well as owned the first version for the PS2) so I can only go on what I have experienced as change from year to year. I want to say that this is the BEST one of the series BY FAR!
Let me get to the so-called "LAG ISSUES" I seem to be reading about in the majority of the reviews.....YES IT DOES LAG BUT ONLY IF YOU PLAY ON THE DEFAULT CAMERA ANGLE..ALSO< THE LAG DOESN"T HAPPEN IN MY PLAYER MODE regardless of the camera settings...read that twice if you have to! cause it took me a minute to accept the fact the game stalls a little bit, until I got curious and started playing on different camera angles...PROBLEM SOLVED if you can handle playing on a different angle...on that note I play the game on GAMESPEED-52 (in the settings menu)
2nd....the gameplay and overall presentation is the BEST of any version yet! The atmosphere this game creates from the sound to the visuals leaves you feeling like your heart is racing....All I can say is I have played a couple close games now and when you play down the stretch this game delivers the excitement unlike ever before...trust me when I say that....
3rd...the MY PLAYER IS THE COOLEST F'N FEATURE EVER!! THIS MODE IS CRACK!! I have spent the majority of my time playing this mode and am hooked...the way you start in the summer league and work your way thru the D-League is seriously sweet....adds TONS of depth and replay value to this game...you can build your player up using points you earn on the court via your performance grades..you also have a .F'N SWEET MODE
4th...the DUNKS are AMAZING!!! From the break away dunks to the put-back jams (which I found to be the most fluent and coolest addition to the game). The game has always had put-back jams but they happened rarely ever...just play this game for 1 or 2 games and you'll see it a couple of times and it's awesome
5th...IF YOU'RE A FAN OF 2K NBA GAMES JUST GO BUY THIS ONE AND SWITCH UP THE SETTINGS TO RID THE PLAGUE OF "LAG"....
