Ultimate Ninja 2 is the same as last year's, but the characters are more expanded and the story mode is a plus...

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 is a game that was taken from a show called Naruto ( most people should know this already). This is basically the same concept as it's prodecessor Ultimate Ninja 1 and part two offers much more characters and a great story to top it off.

Let's talk about the gameplay. The gameplay is really easy to get the hang of and even little kids can handle this game. There is a knockout move ( special move) which every character has depending on what types of abilities they use and if you manage to complete your move it brings you to a little mini-game where you have to match different buttons, spin your stick shift, and press a certain button as fast as you can.

Now the story mode in this game. The story mode is pretty interesting and it gets vey challenging as you complete your tasks further in the game. Naruto fans will definently enjoy this mode and it also can keep for those people who does not watch this show occupied. This is one of the great assets of this game.

There are also a mini-game in the story mode where you talk to different people and you basically complete it for enjoyment. This can keep you busy after a while after you complete the story.

At last, the graphics. The graphics in this game is pretty solid for a cartoon like graphics and it is acceptable for a PS2.

Now for the negative parts of this game. The story mode is a bit short and it leaves you hanging at the end of the game which is really bad. Also once you complete the game there isn't really much to do except do the mini-games, complete the missions, and fight in the exhibition mode.

I would recommend renting this game first because it's the same as part 1 and it can be boring after you complete the story made.
