It's ok but the game follows the story closel with some extra between the storyline. Mostly 2D gameplay.

The game follows when Naruto returns back the Hidden Leaf Village after 3 years of training with Jiraiya. The gameplay is mostly 2D. Along the way of the storyline you can unlock new characters from Naruto Shippuden anime series. Plus new pictures, music and video of ultimate moves on characters. Some of the new ninjajutsus and collectives must be brought with Ninja Points that are earned by finishing missions that are between storyline. Missions are classified as Battle or Speed missions. It ranged by different amount of ninja points and grade from F to S.
In my view of point of this game:
Gameplay rate: 6.0 to 7.0
Graphics rate: 7.0
Playtime: 1 to 2 hours
It takes to understand the missions. Oh you can use some tactics before the missions to start like speed or jumps, etc.
Try this game or rent the game if it is good for you.
