Quite simply the best Action RPG on the system.
It is under rated.
It looks great.
It plays great.
It makes me laugh.
All these things are true.
When i first got my N64 this was THE game i had.
I spent hours on it, finding every last damn lucky cat.
The story is a quirky, humorous affair riddled with bad translations that, IMO, just add to the absurd hilarity of the title.
Technically sound, the graphics are among the leaders on the N64 and overall i can not complain about any aspect of the title except, perhaps, the camera, which has some clipping issues.
The music is catchy, and i do mean catchy. I find myself humming the opening theme due to my current attempt to replay through it.
The giant robot sequances are fun and perfect breaks from the regular pace of the game.
The boss battles are easy enough for anyone, but still leave you feeling satisfied.
It is true it could do with a little more polish, but as is, the game is a must play for me.
9.5 out of ten, .5 point reduction for glitches.
