Oh boy! A digital picture find!

I picked up this game for $5 the day after Thanksgiving. I also picked up Bioshock and the Orange Box for $25 each. I thought this was a simple "adventure" game, which I'm a sucker for. It turns out that it's essentially a "picture find". You are presented rooms filled with gobs of junk and you have to find various things: a screwdriver, a man's hat, another screwdriver, etc. If you love "casual gaming" this is for you. You just click on them. You get docked time for clicking all over the place though.

The game doesn't totally fail though. You occasionally have to open a lock, which involved figuring out a Rube Goldbergesque little puzzle. There's also a segment where you piece together a puzzle using your crime computer, but it's super easy.

Apparently, there are a lot of games out there like this, which is rather disturbing...
