When you want a motocross game, buy this one.
better motocrsoss games. Then came Motocross Madness 2,
i loved it!!! Played the crap out of it.
I think i reinstald the game for like 10 times =P
Since then it went downhill with the upcoming motocross games.
Many games where cheap and buggy. And maybe MM2 was an old one,
it still had the best graphics.
Till MX vs ATV came to the xbox! Amazing! All that what I had in
my mind for a motocross game was in it! Like in MM2 i missed the
clutch. And here it was... I missed backflips and 360's... and
here they where!!!
Most time of playing MX vs ATV i went Freestyle. I just had fun
making some backflips. Till now i played one championship with my
dirt bike. Every time you win races, or freestyle championships you
will earn some points. With all those points you can buy better
bikes, helmets, clothes or even buy a plane, helicopter or monstertruck.
Ok its not that great to fly a plane in a Motocross game, but hey its just a
bonus to the game! Well its funny to fly in multiplayer some times ;)
And how realistic is the game? Well this is the most realistic game on the
market right now. It handles a bike how it should handle a bike. Also if you
will make a wrong backflip, the character falls off the bike. If you land to
hard on the ground, you will have some pain... :P
Also how you jump is very realistic. You have to compress and release the springs
to jump. You will control the springs with you left thumbstick.
Ok now I convinced you a little to buy this game, i shall talk about the
bad this in this game. Like i can't get my quad to right on 2 wheels :P Ok ok
no big deal i know :P. Also it gets a little big bored after playing it for a while.
