I fell in Love with this game even before i played it. The art is so beautiful that in some cases it speaks for itself..

I am about half way through on the Girl's half (sorry can't think of either of their names so..) of the story and I am finding new and hidden areas I missed a few times. Her Blades are best as a short rather then long, the short move better and are faster But they also burn out quicker and break more easily. His on the other hand is better long blade because he seems to handle that faster than the shorter blade, The advantage is that they don't break as easily for him. I am playing BOTH story lines because at some point they actually connect when you obtain a certain blade.

I have read other reviews that say it all hack and slash but no story, Now part of that is true BUT... I actually don't mind that it's hack and slash and some story because for this particular game it works wonderfully well. I think it was the whole point. I am hooked, so much so that I have to force myself to quit at 1 am even though I am sooooo tired I can't see straight.

This game IS everything it's hyped to be and more. The Art is so fantastic that I almost cried the first time the first battle started. No joke. Vanillaware just keeps making better and better games for us to enjoy and drool over.

So keep them coming, please. It would be a shame and travesty to deprive us gamers more of your genius.

So thank you, for making truly interesing and what some say is "old school style" games!
