Everybody had always played fighting games, Killer Instinct for instance, and they have been pretty good. But when Mortal Kombat came out it kicked it up a notch. With it's gory graphics it made the ersb system and made fans cheer. This is a button masher that is so fun to play and so original you will be laughing and screaming as you beat up your opponent and rip out their spines with the final blow. You will spend hours with this game not only trying to unlock all the characters and beating the main mode, but trying to master every character and watching their fatalities over and over.
