Better than the Genesis version.

User Rating: 7 | Mortal Kombat SCD
Basically, this came out just ONE year ago after the MK 1 ports & the release of Mortal Kombat II. When you start up the game, you watch a grainy FMW of the MK 1 commercial with some changes. Then the game has some of the arcades music, compared to the Genesis' MK 1 music, which was nothing like MK 1. & there are more voices, such as the characters names, as well as more sound effects. Plus, blood comes when you first start the game. No blood codes needed, no cheats needed. You can even do the same DULLARD code. However, with it being a CD, it leads to problems. You'll know what to expect. Loading times. The game had loading times, which happened after the fight ladder. It even loads when you do a fatality. However, the game has more detail over the Genesis version, with blood over the skeleton in Goro's Lair, & the decapitated bodies & heads & blood in The Pit stage.
Overall, get this if you wan't the ultimate experience.
