Now, that's how a MK game should be like!

Just yesterday, I reviewed MK: Deadly Alliance and wrote about how it dissapointed me. Today I got the chance to get this game and play it, and I totally loved it!

Deadly Alliance was too hard, they seem to balance the difficulty for this one. You can finish the game and enjoy the ending of your favourite character without getting frustrated. The slowness of fighters also fixed and now the gameplay is a bit faster, like its predecessors were. Only thing that bothered me were the endings and extras...

When you finish the game, instead of getting an ending video, you're getting an ending slideshow... It just shows 2-3 "narrated-by-a-voice" pictures and it's done. I think it would be lot better to use FMVs instead.

And its extras. There are lots of, maybe thousands... But the problem is; you don't know what you're getting! The Krypt system that has been used in Deadly Alliance presents in Deception too. You get Koins by fighting and you use them to buy krypts without knowing what you're buying. And you learn what it is after you purchase it... It's kind of a silly way. Also, it'd be wiser to use FMV endings than putting this much unnecessary extras.

Yet it's a great fighting game with the old school MK feel in it. The new mods like puzzle fighting and chess kombat are fun to play. Especially puzzle one. (Because of the cute mini-version of the MK characters :) I believe you'll enjoy it whether you're a fan of the series or not.
