Unchained has you crusin' for a brusin anywhere you go.

User Rating: 6.8 | Mortal Kombat: Unchained PSP
Mortal Kombat Unchained is the portable version of Mortal Kombat Deception that released fall 2004. So what's the big difference?

First of all it's the addition of four fighters from Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance and the remaining two from Mortal Kombat Deception from the Gamecube version. These fighters are Jax, Kitana, Blaze, Frost, Shao Khan and of course Goro. They make a great comeback in the game and have great special moves as well as projectiles.

The Arcade Ladder. In Deception they had a big mountain that had a list of fighters that you had to fight with. This time around Midway brought back the Arcade Ladder just like Armageddon.

Endurance Mode. Its kinda like Survival Mode from other games like Tekken. It also brings back the kind of feeling from previous MK games. But its not really worth playing except for money of course.

Konquest Mode. Its very similar to the one in Deception but with aweful graphics and the camera angles are really pathetic. They did add new items to the mode though.

Sounds:
The sounds in Unchained are not clear at all. It doesnt have the great effects like other PSP fighting games.

Gameplay: The gameplay in Unchained is amazingly good. It's fun to take MK where ever you go.

Overall:
Fans of Mortal Kombat will find Unchained pretty dissapointing in terms of graphics and framerate issues. But an MK fan such as myself couldnt miss this game. It gets a 6.9 for me.
