Perhaps one of the greatest games on the Wii.

User Rating: 8.5 | Monster Hunter Tri WII
Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii is one of the greatest I have ever played. Both single-player and on line modes are very fun and addictive. Glitches in this game are second to none and the ones in the game are very minor, and the graphics are stunning.
There is one thing I must say about this game tho, it's that you can't just pick up the game and start playing. You have to learn a lot from trial and error. Many people will have a hard time on the first boss. You have to get a feel for them and you will probably loose many times on the earlier monsters. However, after time, you will find yourself going out and killing things very easily.
Next up is the single-player mode. The story is simple, there is a large beast attacking Moga Village and it's your job to slay it. However, you don't just go up to it and kill it. You go through a tutorial and then you must take on many other quests before you are ready. There are several encounters with the monster before the big battle. Along the way, you meet a young member of the Shakalaka tribe named Cha-cha. He will come in handy through-out the game and get stronger as you go along. Later on there is plot twist, but I'm not going to ruin the game for you.
Now for the on line mode. You get a hunter rank or hr and as you do quests, it increases. You can play with up to 3 other players on line, leading up to a party of 4. The on line mode does not really have a story. The monsters on line are stronger than their offline counterparts since you have a team helping you. After you pass the 31 hunter rank, you go to high rank. At this point the monsters are at their strongest. The on line mode is the most fun of the two in my opinion.
Over all it is a great game and definitely worth buying!
