MLB 07: The Show is still a great baseball game. Last years game was definitely the best baseball game of the year. And I can say that again this year. Not much has changed in this year's version. A few new features added, like the new Road to the Show. Now, not only do you follow your player's at-bats, you also take the field as you are put into the players shoes while on the field. MLB 07 also improved its fielding. Its still not perfect, but its satisfying. The controls are the same. It's not hard to get the feel of the game. Pitching is the classic "bar". Hitting is just a push of a button away. Graphics are the same. The players still look a bit stiff and most players don't look nothing like the real thing. For that, the animations look a little stiff. They could have improved on that at least. There are still a few minor glitches in the game, but nothing to get scared away about. Probably the biggest problem with the game is the frame rate. When you hit the ball to the outfield, it seems to lag a bit. It can get pretty annoying. Other than that, there seems to be no problems. The sounds in The Show are the same as well. The same broadcasters are there and they say the same things. Although they are very accurate on most plays. There is a new soundtrack to the game. Nothing that great really. The rosters are updated for the most part. All the big names are on the right teams. So, overall MLB 07: The Show is still as great a game for any baseball fan. You will not be disappointed. Baseball fans, go out and get this game!
