07 the Show is one of the best baseball games that have ever been created

Baseball is my favorite sport. I love watching it, I love playing it, I love talking about it. It also helps that my team is one of the best in the majors, in your face New York. I've gotten a baseball game every year since the late 90's and this one is probably my favorite. All baseball games have very nice graphics and soundtracks and yada yada yada, but what sets MLB 07 apart is the Road to the Show. Creating a character and playing through the career is usually in all games, but baseball has always been different. In some games you create yourself, but still have control over your team mates. This is not the case in this game because they actually fast forward the game until it is your turn to hit, pitch, or make a play in the field.

I created a second baseman, since that was a position the Red Sox were somewhat week in, and I apologize to Dustin Pedroia. I started out in AA Portland and gradually made my way up to AAA Pawtucket. When it was time for me to make my major league debut, that was when the difficulty upped the ante. My major league debut was against Johan Santana of the Minnesota Twins. I went 0-4 with 3 K's and was promptly sent back to the minors. I love this game, and I am hoping to get a working Sony system to play 08 and the future ones, I'm cutting the review short, because it will most likely result in a long discussion about statistics and stuff like that, and I don't want to write that much.
