so very very close - but not quite ...
a couple of level into it I realized it didn't get any better - and right near the end I sort of got bored with it..
not to say that this isn't a good game - it is a 'good' game - but in my eyes it's a good idea that had the potential to be an amazing game .. only nobody stepped up to the challenge , and instead of a long epic story filled with cool stuff and memorable moments - what you get is a quick simple game that feels like it was written in PG.
if someone had taken advantage of the awesome characters and settings , added a little depth to the whole story and the character development , made more levels and added some cooler stuff to the items and upgrades .. this game could have been an outright EPIC! Everything is right there - it's like they chose not to make the game they should have been making or something ...
ah well. maybe they'll make a second one and try to step it up a bit...
the graphics were were fine - but the combat and camera are - like the rest of the game - adequate but not impressive...
i did genuinely enjoy this game - but it doesn't have any replay value at all ...
