Who knew something so simple could be so addictive?

User Rating: 8 | Minecraft (Classic) PC
Who knew something so simple could be so addictive? I've been waiting a long time to review Minecraft, and I think it's about time I do.

STORY:
What story? There is none. lol. Not really a problem, though, because I think its gameplay makes up for this.

GAMEPLAY:
You start with your bare hands to defend yourself and to collect resources. Be quick about it though, because at nightfall, the monsters come around! Make sure you have shelter by then, because it's up to you to build it. In order to respawn in your house, you must have a bed. How do you make a bed? Wool and wooden planks. How do you get the wool? Sheep. You must be lucky enough to spawn near a few sheep, or you're basically screwed. But don't worry, you will always spawn by trees, so you can always get the wood. There is so much more to explain, because mining also takes a lot of work. But it's so much fun to collect everything!

GRAPHICS:
Just blocky and basic, like 20th century video games, but with a 3D feel. You play in first-person, but you can switch to third-person at any time. You also have the option to put in your own texture packs, so that's pretty cool too.

Overall, Minecraft is one of the most addicting and fun games you will play, ever. Buy the premium to fully enjoy it.
