Cons: Not as good as the pc version, no skin editor, no 100% completely working online servers yet :-( , no redstone, no bosses, no LEGAL mod support, no sprinting or crouching etc.
I LOVE MINECRAFT! I watch videos about it and (obviously) play minecraft pocket edition.
Its a decent handheld version of the pc version that keeps getting better and better with every update that makes it more like the pc version despite being WAY behind when compared to the pc and xbox versions but what did you expect? A fully developed handheld minecraft game? The orginal took some time to be as good as it is today so just aperceiate it for what it is, a great handheld local (and hopefully soon a great mulitiplayer) minecraft game that still has the same great addicting core gameplay of crafting lots of items like swords, pickaxes, axes and shovels to gather resources to make items like torches to lit up caves and various block to built anything imagineible!
EXAMPLE: A house to be your home for protection, comfort and for customizing it to your liking to make your own unquie dream house ( my first house was a two storey wooden house on a high hill with some furnaces, chests, crafting tables, stone cutters and a bed with a underground tunnel)
RESOURCE COLLECTING GUIDE
Axes for cutting down trees for wood to craft most items.
Pickaxes for MINEING resources.
Sword for properly fighting enemys ( you can fight them without one but it does little damage to enemys)
One of the best things about Minecraft is the mulitiplayer and its pretty fun here too which is AWESOME!
Monsters include Zombies who moan and burn in sunlight, Iconic Creepers who attack by blowing them self up in a powerful explosion and drop gunpowder and spiders who climb walls and jump at you to attack and skeletons who arrows at you.
If you die in this game you LOOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR POCKETS WHICH IS RAGE QUIT NUCEALAR FUEL! 999 diamonds, diamond armour and tools which took you a year to get, GONE! You can still recollect your belongings if you are quick enough but otherwise GONE!
Newly added double chest are twice as big as a normal chest and can carry twice as much as a regular one.
Buckets can carry and place water and lava and can be used in some pretty clever ways( lava trap, water slide or/and deep water spot to jump into from a giant height to stop fall damage and act as a shortcut.
Overall I love this game and its a great handheld mobile/tablet app which i highly recommend and for such a cheap price of less than 9 dollars/euro its a must have great game!
