A classic wacky fun racing game.
You can choose from a number of crazy looking characters and there are a heap of different vehicles and maps to choose from. The races and battle games are so much fun when playing with 2-4 people. There is even a time trial mode where you can set records using different vehicles.
The gameplay is smooth and the camera is the perfect distance above the vehicles. The graphics are easy to see and really developed for the SNES. The music and sound effects are surprisingly clear.
The vehicles each have their own specialties, like speed, terrain, water, drifting etc. The maps also have some great features such as jumps, bumpers, slippery spots and even sticky glue.
It was a fantastic racing game for its time, and still is. I recommend any retro game lover to give Micro Machines a try.
