So far Metroid Prime: Federation Force has been a big surprise. The controls are very true to the Metroid Prime series and only take a few missions to start getting the hang of. The game is a little difficult though, but its not too bad and youll master it in no time. Plus you get to unlock hard mode which is fun and adds things like weather effects.
This is probably among the best spin-off games made available. It keeps the spirit of Metroid Prime alive and well yet at the same time innovating and taking it to the next level. As online FPSs go, this one is among the best, plus the online works flawlessly.
Federation Force makes defeat and replayability very rewarding. You collect mods and paint jobs for your mechs and even in mission failure, which is bound to happen, you can still keep mods that your crew found. Collecting these mods, upping rank, paint jobs, skipping cutscences and trying to get higher scores all add to a great a replay experience.
While multiplayer is where its at, single player is still fun and shares an important purpose. It can get real difficult at times, but take it slow and figure it out, where their is a will, there is a way. Dont miss out on this must play.
