Another great chapter in the Metal Gear Saga. A must have for any MGS fan.

First off, for the time this game was released the graphics were great. Facial animations and motion cap animations look very good for its time.

You start the game off as Solid Snake infiltrating an oil tanker to capture evidence of a new metal gear. Though only for a short while you will play as Snake, which may dissapoint MGS Fans. Enter Jack aka Raiden. He is pretty much hated by fans of the series due to the fact that you control him for 90% of the game and not Snake. He has had VR Training experience and is sent into the Big Shell to stop Dead Cell and Solidus, Snakes other brotehr who is the perfect clone to Big Boss.
The gameplay has made a huge overhaul from the Metal Gear Solid game on the Playstation, Raiden can do a summersalt, hang from ledges and aim in first person view.
The A.I. is pretty advanced for its time, although the enemies have a limited sight range and you can basically stand about 30 feet in front of them and they wont notice you. You can now tranquelize enemies, and hide in lockers to stay out of trouble.
The storyline is good and picks up somewhat where MGS left off on the PS1. 4 years after the Shadow Moses incident. There are new enemies like Solidus, Liquid Ocelot, and Vamp, Fortune, and Fatman. Each enemy has thier own gi mmick or thing that makes them unique.
There are more timed missions where you have to travel through the Shelss but it dosent get too hard or redundant.
I can't go on too much because it will ruin the story for newcomers but this game is lengthy and has good replay value, plus its cheap now, I paid $5 for my copy. So any fan of the MGS series needs to get this game. Also check out MGS 3 Snake Eater and MGS 4 Guns of the Patriots. This is a great series for anyone who likes action, adventure and a great story with appealing characters and challenges.
