Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
The story for this game takes place a few years after the events of Metal Gear Solid. Snake and Otacon are now hunting down new breeds of Metal Gear in hopes of ridding the world of their presence. Soon after the game begins though, You step into the shoes of a new character called Raiden. This special ops agent is sent into a oiling rig to save the President of the United States who is being held hostage by and unkown group of terrorists. Things take a turn for the worst when the terrorist group turns out to be a hired merc. group being paid by Liquid Snake to help him steal Metal Gear.
The gameplay mechanics for this game are amazing. The grapics are amazing for a PS2 game of its time. I felt right at home when I started playing this game from the beginning. It brings back all the stealth action gameplay the series is known for. The storyline is very intriguing and will have you thinking long after the game is over.
I think that this installment in the Metal Gear Solid series was one of the best. Everything in the game was balanced evenly, all the stealth, all the action, and all the laughs. This game has many jaw dropping moments and shocking revelations. Overall I thought that this game was amazing and outstanding.
