Why Revengeance Rocks...
There is a saying that goes something like this: "A man can die trying to please everyone". And it is so true.
Using the name and characters of such a beloved and respected series as MGS could never be considered an easy task. Also it could not come without risk.
The game that was a Metal Gear, but wasn't meant to be exactly a Metal Gear became something on it's own.
Good Graphics, excellent combat system with almost seamless combo execution, rocking soundtrack and all that Metal Gear charm to back it up.
A fast paced, action packed Hack and Slash game with the most beautifully styled sword moves out there. Also, it brings with it a bit of that Samurai/Ninja way feel to the table. The manner in which you chose to slay your foes and how efficiently you do so become a question of honor, your very own trademark killing style. Trying to score S rank in the many combat sections of the game becomes a mission of perfection in the path of mastery of your sword.
I think that that game should pack a bit more play hours for a game that took so much time to be launched, but still, a fun game that deserves it's place alongside the MGS series.
