There is not a whole lot of depth to this game.. nor is there supposed to be. This game is a sidescroller plain and simple. It is also one of my son's favorite games as he has played it over and over again I dont know how many times. The graphics are passable as is the sound (though nothing real outstanding). After trying it a couple times myself I can see the addictive quality to it. It does take a bit of skill and learning the special features of each of the monsters you face. (Truth be told some of those boss monsters were hard to beat... but then I am more an RPG player myself)
