Dosen't even compare with its older brother Megaman Anniversary Collection!

User Rating: 7.5 | Mega Man X Collection PS2
Okay, lets get to the point here. The Megaman X Collection is a fancied up version of the original Megaman with new weapons and special upgrades that he can pick up in each of the 6 games this collection is composed of. These games are good but not as memorable as the original Megaman games are. For one, the music dosen't bring back those loving memories Megaman fans have come to know and cherish. Another thing is that the gameplay isn't upgraded even though these games are on a more powerful system so I have to judge harder on this series of Megaman games. One plus ,though, is the graphics. The colors jump from the screen with vibrancy and clarity that was nowhere to be seen in the original Megaman series. The special effects are also executed very well in this 2-dimensional side-scroller, especially when Megaman X charges up his X-Buster to blast away those evil baddies. Oh, I almost forgot! The bosses this time around are a little more creative than original Megaman series (there were many Fireman's and Iceman's of some sort in the originals). The best game in this collection by far is Megaman X. It delivers on all facets when judging a game from entertainment to sound.

So while Megaman may have a fresh coat of paint and a new name, I just don't know if this game is worth the money ,but that, of course, is for you to decide!
