The 8 bosses concept is still strong, but if the hole experience feels dated and uninspired, the game turn out kinda bad

After playing though Mega Man 5, i imediatelly started playing Mega Man 6. Sadly, i was not impressed by any means and it left none special taste in my mouth.

GRAPHICS:
The graphics are the same as the other games, but on an artistic level, it is dispointing.3/5

MUSIC:
I have to say, the stage themes are some of my favourite on the franchise, but you hardly will be homing out for more.4/5

GAMEPLAY:
The game is your average Mega Man game: go though a stage to fight a boss and grab its power up. The problem is that the game was released too late on the NES life, and only a few month before Mega Man X, so Capcom didn't put much efford in the game. The bosses are stupid and their powers feel like the same from the past. If you pay attention, you'll see that Plant Man has the same attack patter of Star Man from MM5, and his weapon is the same too. The Wily stages don't stand out too. On the positive side, the Rush armors are kinda cool and very useful. Overall the gameplay is just uninspired.1/5

OVERALL:
The game is a let down, as there is nothing that makes this game above and beyond. If you are a Mega Man fan, i sugest you play though the other games first and then play this one.
