Capcom Keeps Things Fresh and Interesting With This Great Game!

User Rating: 10 | Mega Man 4 NES

For some reason, I found playing this video game via the "Mega Man Legacy Collection" on the Nintendo Switch, better than playing it as a stand-alone game on the Nintendo 3DS. While this video game may not get the same recognition or acclaim that some of the other "Mega Man" games do, it's still a very good game in its own right. For starters, the music, sound, and control are as good as in any other "Mega Man" game, and the graphics seem to be really improved from "Mega Man III", almost approaching Turbographix-16 levels at times, which is pretty impressive coming from the NES! This time, Dr. Wily has sunk to new lows, as he has kidnapped Dr. Cossack's daughter Kalinka, and is basically FORCING Dr. Cossack to fight Mega Man with eight new robots, if Dr. Cossack wants to get his daughter back. Thankfully, Mega Man is LITERALLY armed with a brand new Mega Buster, which when fully charged, can make quick work of the minor, more annoying enemies. There are also hidden areas to explore, which can hold valuable extra lives or energy tanks, and the robot masters are also well-designed, and interesting challenges to beat in their own right! If you have never played this great game before, I highly recommend playing it through the "Mega Man Legacy Collection" for the Nintendo Switch! You may be pleasantly surprised by the good story, and the stellar game play! Enough said, true believers!
