A nice addition to the original Mega Man series.

Mega Man is a big gaming franchise, with so many games out there, split into different series. Mega Man 8 was thought to be the last game in the original series, but over 10 years later, a Mega Man 9 was finally made, then over a year later, we got a Mega Man 10 as well. As with Mega Man 9, it has the 8-bit graphics from the NES Mega Man games.

There's some cool features that really makes this game stand out from the other games in the original series. These include 3 playable characters and the easy difficulty level. This is the first Mega Man game in the original series to have 3 playable characters. These include Mega Man, Proto Man and Bass (although, you must pay a little extra money to download him first). Each characters has their own abilities. Mega Man plays the same as he did in the first 2 NES games and Mega Man 9. As with Mega Man 9, this might seem disappointing, due to the loss of the charge shot and stuff, but at least Proto Man has the charge shot now. But Proto Man also takes double that amount of damage than Mega Man. Then we have Bass, who can rapid shoot in any direction, but he can't move while shooting. It gives it all a good balance.

I mentioned the easy difficulty setting before. I'll get into that now. Before this game, each Mega Man game in the original series only had an option between medium and hard. This game adds in easy. It's a really nice addition, because it's nice for first time players of this game and especially first time players of the series in general. Basically, there's less enemies and more platforms and that kind of stuff.

The level designs are really nice. Examples of this is Pump Man's stage, which has oil dripping on the stage, and Nitro Man's stage, which is a level taking place outside in the dark with vehicles that you must dodge and jump on. And there's also Commando Man's stage, with the quick sand and stuff.

Overall, it's one of the better Mega Man games in the original series, but not my favorite. I now wonder what Mega Man 11 will have. Perhaps Roll or Duo as playable characters and a very hard difficulty level.
