Once again you must save the world and rid it of evil. I love this game series, this game being the second of the two part Playstation series. It is a shame that this game did not get more attention. I think that this is a really good game, but I must agree with the Game Spot review in that it’s not great. There are certain aspects of the game, mostly the mechanics that limit the player’s range of motion and make easy tasks difficult. The level where you must collect the helmets seems impossible at first as you cannot keep from falling in the pits of goo. Fighting scenes are very awkward again due to the way the character moves. The one thing that I really love about the first game was the puzzles and they are few and far between in this sequel; I think the developers missed the boat on that one. The one thing that keeps this game good is the story and Dan himself. He is perhaps the mostly lovable zombie in video games today. The storyline keeps you wanting to play more and look past the difficult challenges that can be very frustrating. Overall I think this game is a good play, but I doubt the series will go very far and a good example that can be seen in the poor reviews for the PSP game.
