Lacks polish but has it's thrills.

I played the single player campaign right from the start and to be honest, yes, it lacks some polish but the story really grew on me. I started to feel a connection between myself and the characters portrayed. The game play is pretty fluid, easy to pick up and just go, though it is rather linear. Good selection of in-game weapons and I thought they did a good job with the locales. It felt like I was fighting in a sandy, shady as in sketchy lol , gritty environment. I felt the game left the player with a surprising ending, coupled with LP singing "The Catalyst"! Who can resist that? As for the MP- Fast paced, chaotic at times due to hit detection or lack there of. Moderate sized maps though I prefer larger maps and vehicles, very few vehicles here. I also prefer a little more environmental/structural/cover damage, again very little here. Over all the game has it's thrills and if you can find it for a good price maybe it will grow on you too. 8/10 Have a good 1 !!
