Fun for CCG fans.
Cons: Fairly long load times. repetitive music, sub-par storyline.
After playing Marvel TCG on the Nintendo DS I was somewhat hesitant to try it on the PSP (DS version was terrible). However, the PSP version is alot better with interface and graphics. I was surprise to see how detail the tutoral was in explaining the rules and mechanics. After going through the tutoral I could play the story mode with complete understanding.
However, when going from one battle to the next the load times felt as though you were installing the game to PSP instead of actually loading the game. I would spend time drumming my fingers on the table or chair waiting for the next battle to load the decks.
The heavy metal music gets old really quick and I found myself muting it. Story mode is okay although dialogue is kind of corny and cutscenes take on the form of illustrated boxes like you see in the comics.
Overall, the game is fun for those who like CCGs (like me). I would recommend it.
