It had the potential to be a great game. It just didn't cut it, laim single player and unfair multiplayer mode.

User Rating: 6.1 | Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects GC
Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects is an action game based on the Marvel universe. An alien named Niles Van Roekel constructed experiments to create metahumans known as the Imperfects. They have been sent to destroy the other Marvel characters. At the same time, aliens have attacked the Earth. You'll be using Spider-Man, Wolverine, The Thing, and Daredevil, and more to take them all down. The entire game is broken up. Sure, there are lots and lots of short levels with the characters. However, all you will ever do in the game attack aliens and machines and generators. A few times you will fight a villain, possibly an Imperfect or someone else, but gets old. The fighting somehow manages to remain fun throughout the game. There are very, very few arenas you'll be on. There is no good variety. The stages all have a bunch of objects such as barrels, pole lights, and cars. There are explosive barrels. You can throw them. A lot of times when you get hit you're bound to bounce off these barrels in which they explode causing you bounce again. Sometimes it can go 3 times in a row. In a manner of seconds, the barrels and other objects will placed back to where they were. There just seems to be too many objects in the game. As for controls, they have been set to work out pretty nice. You can throw, press the 'A' button repeatedly to get standard combos of attacks. Your superpowers are demonstrated pretty good. Some can fly, others web zip. Whenever you attack enough times, you'll be able to go into RAGE. It helps out with attacks. Whenever a character's health is low, you can do a finishing move which shows a cut scene showing them using their superpowers to the fullest effect. It's really awesome to watch. There are 18 characters to choose from, about 12 of them need to be unlocked. _ Graphics- The character animations are good. That's about the only thing actually standing out. The frame rate doesn't always hold up. The backgrounds are dull, not detailed, and practically colorless. Sound- It's actually got great sound effects. It has average voice acting. There aren't too many music sound tracks. Not much to say about sound.
Value- The first time playing through you'll spend about 10 hours. If you choose to get all the cards, movies, and comics you can't just go back to the level that it is on. In order to do it requires starting over from the beginning of the game. It is likely that the level can be skipped over a couple times because the order is very unorganized. It has 2-player vs. mode. The multiplayer is repetitve and kind of waste of time, unless you really enjoy it. The characters are very unbalanced. Some are just plain better in everything from speed, to throws, to power, and strength._____ Tilt- Only Marvel fans and those who really enjoy beat-em-up games should pick up this game. Heck, if you rent it and are dedicated to it in that time period, you can beat it before bringing it back. This is Wiifan001... signing off.
