Marvel Heroes satisfies your Diablo clicky-finger itch and is a bit too addicting

I'll keep it brief. The game is a loot/click fest that would appeal to a Diablo addict for a good change of pace. I quickly got over the fact your character rarely changes appearance, unless you buy one of 3 costumes for it, or buy or find a new hero drop, or "Display Artifact."

You get plenty of loot to choose from for equipment constantly, money is a non-factor for crafting or buying items, it is Diablo/Torchlight in the Marvel Universe and it's free to play...even without buying a thing you can thoroughly enjoy it from beginning to end-game activities, and still be as viable as anyone else at your level (although there are some classes that appear to be more adept than others in combat generally speaking).

Fortune cards add paid-for gambles on added abilities, heroes or costumes and 1 hour potions, and you have the ability to create your own "Supergroup."

I've played through the game with 3 different characters and it's hard to put it down some times. The action is quick, furious, fun to watch and execute, the bosses are fun, with the end-game boss being more of a challenge than any of the current ARPG titles (i.e. Diablo 3).

And heck you're a licensed Marvel Superhero throughout. The game ends around level 30 and continues on in the "end-game" challenges and missions until what I believe is level 60 (not sure off-hand).

Not sure what the bad reviews are about, it's a smooth, stable, free game that's every bit as good as the rest of the major ARGP titles out.
