Usually, everyone thinking of Mario participating in a sports game, must think that it's gonna be an overall horribe game? Right? Right? Well, if your thinking that for this game, I wanna tell you that your wrong, as this game is probably one of the best sports experiences you will have up to date. It's not a perfect sports game, but it will fill all your needs for that sports side of you. The graphics in the game are a bigger improvement from the first, and everything is detailed so well that I can see why this game took so long to come out. The characters look great, the main screen looks great, but the only problem I have with this is how the character selection looks like. They really need to make the icons bigger and put the pictures of the characters smaller. Familiar beats will hit your ear when you listen to this sounds of the game. Alot of old mario tunes are in alot of the courses, plus, there's a bunch of new ones that Nintendo has created for us also, which is a big up in the book. This game is definately worth owning, especially if you have friends come over alot and play games with you. Single player mode is great too, and gives you a challenge when you need to finish all of those "Special Games." If your looking for a good multiplayer frenzy to rent over the weekend with a few of your friends, look no further because the game your looking for is sitting right in-front of you. Literally. You'll be playing this game for hours on end, and won't stop. Always and always you'lll be anxious to turn on your Nintendo Gamecube and play some more Mario Power Tennis. You'll never be able to get enough of it. Overall, this game is a great multiplayer experience for you all and of your friends. It's definately worth owning and should be considered into everyone's video game colleciton.
