I have been playing Mario Party since I was five years old, I have played Mario Party 3 through 8 and I took a break from nine. Once I heard that ten was coming out and I had enough money I couldn't resist. Once I popped it in and played it, I realized the biggest difference was that you didn't travel individually but all in one car, I later learned that this change was made in Mario Party NINE, so if you enjoyed nine this won't be a problem. After adjusting to the single car, I realized another major change, minigames have been transferred into a space rather than after every round of turns. I actually enjoy this change as it livens up the pace instead of turn-turn-turn-turn-minigame and so on. Those are the two main changes to party mode and while I feel that individual movement was better than the car but, I will still party on
