The good parts of this game is the new characters, instead of using those 4 characters from the first one for the game boy color, you can choose between 2 different characters with completely different statistics. Also, the new courses, they have really nice environments and nice scenery, there is even a par 6 place that you can go to and that is awesome. The music is awesome, even though it has a kind of poor quality to it, its still really nice music, especially for golf. The stat raising, yes, it is in this game too and you can take your drive up from maybe 220 yds. to a whopping 350 yards by time you level up all the way., there are also these different type of clubs that can change your stats like your drive, spin, trajectory, and even impact zone. The bad parts of this game is, ig you dont have mario golf toadstool tour with the proper cable, you ae missing out on some of the good stuff on this game, and without it, you will have a hard time leveling up. The sound, just the normal effects, horrible, low quality, and crappy. After you have leveled up all the way, there isnt really anything else to do unless 100% completing the game. Overall, this game is neat and fun, but with very minor weak points, i do recommend this game to only golf people and/or mario fans.
