Every time I buy a new Nintendo system, I always try to keep the video game system until I have sought out every single new video game that I want to play, that was released for that system. The Nintendo 3DS is no different, and even though there are no new major video game releases on the horizon, there are still some games out there that I want to play for it, and this game was one of them. While I certainly enjoyed this game during its original incarnation on the Game Boy Advance, the 3DS remake enhances this game in ways that wouldn't have been possible on the 32 bit portable system. For instance, the expressions on the characters, and the graphics of the various landscapes and backgrounds of the game, have gone from "Mildly Detailed", to "Look at the Stunning Detail on the Backgrounds and Characters!" Fawful's funny moments of humor and funny way of talking are left intact, and getting good combos and beating enemies is even easier to accomplish in this re-make! (Although to be fair, when you fight the final boss, you STILL want to have a LOT of healing items, because she is FAR tougher than all the other bosses combined!) Also an unexpected bonus, is the "Bowser's Minion" side-game, new to this game! It tells the unexpected backstory of a Goomba who has to rescue his fellow companions, who have fallen victim to Fawful's mind-control! Noteworthy in the fact that this marks the first time MANY of Bowser's minions, especially the Koopa Kids, have been playable (somewhat) in an R.P.G. Video Game! And it definitely feels SO satisfying to be able to CRUSH all of Fawful's troops, using the force of a Goomba! I definitely recommend playing this re-make, as a way to experience one of the great video games the Nintendo 3DS has to offer! Enough said, true believers!
