Not A Big Jump From 2K6, But Acceptable

User Rating: 6.5 | Major League Baseball 2K7 PS2
The Good:
-Jon Miller and Joe Morgan do a great job with calling the action.
-Music soundtrack is good.
-Much better than the handheld ports of the game.
-Close-ups of players/managers look cool.
-Arguing with umpires.

The Bad:
-Bugs cause some menus/screens to freeze briefly.
-Extremely illogical stats.
-Controls feel rather sluggish.
-You have a small window of time to determine pitches while preparing to swing.
-Frame rate is unstable in some places.
-Sometimes incorrect commentary. (i.e: An outfielder letting a fly ball drop into play will sometimes result in a line of "... Can't come up with this thing.")
-A lot of heavily recycled material from 2K6.
-Some minor issues with having to wrap your mind around which button combinations do advance multiple bases or stealing a base.

Overall, MLB 2K7 is an accessable and fun baseball experience, once you can get past the bugs, minor, but noticable frame rate hitches, and somewhat sluggish controls. It may mostly be a rehash of 2K6, but this one's at least worth a look.
