MLB 2K5 World Series Edition is the same game released earlier in 2005, but with some extra features.
MLB 2K5 was released earlier this year, around the time the MLB season started, now MLB 2K5 World Series Edition kicks around as the playoffs are kicking into gear. Although this game was released later than the original 2K5 edition of the game, this game doesn't have any gameplay or graphical upgrades from the original MLB 2K5. However, the game does have up to date rosters, some new gameplay modes, and a very nice DVD that highlights of the greatest moments in Baseball history. You can also relive these great moments in the game which is pretty cool. MLB 2K5 is basically the same game we saw earlier in 2005, if you're all about gameplay and don't really care about special features then you don't really need to get this game. If you want to see all of the new features, then you can buy this game because at the price it's at, you might as well buy this game instead or renting it.
