Gamespot score is way too low. The game isn't perfect, but its definitely fun and worth lower price than on consoles

I don't think the Gamespot reviewer actually reviewed the PC version of this game. The game has definite re-playability and the "My Player" mode does not get old even with my right fielder (who's currently in his 2nd season in the Pros). There are bugs every now and then, but not enough to warrant a complaint for an otherwise decent $30 game.

I use both a Logitech Rumblepad 2 and a XBox 360 controller on my PC and haven't had any controller issues like this Gamespot reviewer had. The homers are enjoyable and satisfying (though when I broke the home run record, I wish the commentators would've mentioned it in the game).

The only complaint I do have with the game is the menu system takes a bit getting used to. If you have a somewhat decent PC; you want a good baseball game for $30; and you don't feel like shelling out $60 if you have a PS3 for a game that's actually pretty similar (some will claim The Show is much better, but I don't see it). Until EA decides to bring back MVP Baseball, your best bet for your wallet and a fun time with a baseball game is to get MLB 2k10.
